Terms of Use

These terms govern use of datatensor.uk and Datatensor consumer applications provided by Hong Kong Tensor Technology Co., Limited. Product-specific terms presented in an application also apply and take priority if they conflict with these general terms.

1. Accepting these terms

By accessing or using a service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter this agreement. A parent or guardian must authorise use where applicable law requires it.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information where an account is required and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable care. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Permitted use

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the service for lawful purposes. You must not:

• interfere with, overload, probe or bypass service security;
• use automated access except through an interface we provide or permit;
• reverse engineer or copy software except where law does not allow that restriction;
• upload unlawful content or content that infringes another person's rights;
• use a service to harm, deceive, impersonate or unlawfully monitor another person.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give us a limited licence to host, copy, transmit, transform and otherwise process it only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service, comply with your settings, and meet legal obligations. You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit the content.

5. AI features

AI-generated output can be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable. Review output before relying on it, especially for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical or other important decisions. You are responsible for how you use output. Product-specific restrictions may apply to input and output.

6. Cloud services and availability

Synchronisation and storage depend on networks and third-party infrastructure. Keep independent copies of important data. We work to provide reliable services but do not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, or that every error can be corrected.

7. Purchases and subscriptions

A product may offer paid features. Price, billing period, renewal and cancellation terms will be shown before purchase. App-store purchases are also subject to the store's billing and refund rules. Statutory consumer rights are not excluded.

8. Intellectual property

The services, software, design and branding, excluding your content, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. No rights are granted except those expressly stated in these terms.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using a service at any time. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users or systems, address unlawful use, enforce these terms, or comply with law. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to export data before a service is discontinued.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Services are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties not expressly stated here. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer rights.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without limiting protections that the law of your habitual residence requires. Hong Kong courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms to reflect product, legal or security changes. We will post the revised date and give appropriate notice of material changes. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.
